At Teens in Flight, our Instrument Rating Program is designed to take your flying to the next level by developing the skills and judgment needed to safely operate in instrument conditions. Our training follows FAA standards while focusing on practical, real world flying not simply preparing you to pass a checkride.

Students will learn to confidently navigate by instruments, plan and fly instrument approaches, understand weather and risk, and make sound decisions when conditions become challenging. Our goal is to build pilots who are not only prepared to meet FAA standards, but who are also prepared for the responsibilities and decision-making required of real world instrument flying.

Real World Instrument Flying

Instrument Rating Training

Our Instrument Rating program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become a safe and capable instrument-rated pilot. We follow FAA standards while focusing on more than simply passing the checkride.
